Cher!
My opinon of Cher's Farewell Tour per an e-mail I sent to my friend and former Californian staffer Tim Bragg:
Cher was Cher. Self-aggravandizing, over-blown and the best drag show outside of Las Vegas. I mean, it was like "Showgirls" with about the same level of almost nekkid-ness. And Cher, well, that woman doesn't know what clothes are. She called J. Lo and Jessica Simpson "bitches" and then announced that “To all the girls coming up ... FOLLOW THIS, YOU BITCHES!" Then began the rest of her disco frenzied, Cirque du Soleil style show. Complete with about 50 billion costume changes and her putting on that outfit from "If I Could Turn Back Time" and having all the "boys" throw their little sailor hats on the stage to re-inact the music video.
Yeah, it was nice. Kind of like how at rap concerts where people will sometimes fire actual guns if there are gun shots in the chorus. You know? But more gay and less deadly ...

Yes, the Cher show was the closest defintion yet that I've come for the word "idolatry." Scariest audience I've ever see. 400 to 500 pound Mexican men wearing L'Oreal base ....

Hi! I was there too & loved the show. Watching the audience alone was worth the ticket price, especially at intermission, LOL!
The only disappointment(s) was the outrageous prices of the merchandise ($10+ more for everything, than it was in Vegas, according to a gal who saw the show there), & the fact that she only did ONE song for encore.
I was wondering if there are any PICTURES from the show? I was a 'good girl' & didn't take a camera or recording device, since the tickets said none were allowed, but I saw many people with cameras, & saw many 'flashes' in the audience that I know couldn't have all been press. This is the SECOND time recently I've missed out on pics at a concert...was told no cameras at Billy Idol too, & everyone & their dog had cameras >:-( Why do they say NO CAMERAS, if it's really OK to have a camera???
Even without pics tho', the show wasn't something I'm ever going to forget. Yup! Follow that, Bitches! Britany who?

If you're going to bash someone, you really should use a spell checker. The word is spelled re-enact not re-inact.
