Ch-ch-ch-changes!

New stuff happening in the local blog world. Like Matildakay has a new address ... her "One Woman's Blog to Mankind" is now at www.matildakay.com. And now there's The Buzz Blogs, a local round up of bloggers of all stocks and trades started by ol' Nick Belardes who recently published his book. Congrats, Nick!

The Buzz Blogs lists everyone from myself to an arts blog by Julia Heatherwick to Matildakay to Bakersfield Ill News and more. There are also links to podcasts.

BTW: The Californian has podcasts now. Anyone dying to hear my voice? I'm on three of them. It's called The Bakersfield Download. We make it a tad unnecessarily hard to find it on our site, but we are redesigning our webpage, people. Give us time. There's even a film of me forcing co-workers to eat insane amounts of fair food for download here. It's in our fair coverage package here.

And in other news, Club Paradise on 19th is shutting down for remodeling Oct. 2, 3 and 4 (much like Fishlips has been closed for a remodel.) But Club Paradise is reopening as Club 902, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5
