You're not losers! For those who slept in on my morning show spot, here's the link to me, Lisa and the Shoopster getting all chatty and perky on that stuff EEEEEAAAAARRRRRRRLLLLLYYYYYY in the morning on "Daybreak!"
Like I said, it was CRAZY, with Enrique and all this stuff going on. Live TV. I swear. It's like being on crack but without the horrible addiction and weight loss.
BTW, like my red jacket. It's vintage velvet! Got it at the Five and Dime Antique mall for $7! Thrift store shopping is where it's at! And look at that fro. So shiny and bright! But keep your eye out. I might be changing my hairstyle over the weekend (I do this a lot folks. Most black women do), so don't be shocked if I turn into Farrah Fawcett by next Thursday. But not literally. I'm just saying my hair might be feathered. I look good with feathered hair.
Fellow reporter Steve Swenson, city editor Bob Christie and our photo editor Alex Horvath have been keeping tabs on my hair since I started here almost three years ago. I've had about, eh, 20 different hairstyles, give or take a few, from dredlocks to Shirley Temple curls. Hey, maybe I'll do that! Of course that will involve breaking out my basket of rods and sitting under a dryer all weekend.
Decisions. Decisions.
