Psst ... wanna buy a writer?

For my television series that I'm floating around the theme music would be from a Rilo Kiley song as all their songs are upbeat, but horribly depressing. I love them.

So, I got rejection letter number ... hmmm ... six in my current quest for a literary agent. What's it going to take to get some love, people? I feel like I've got a solid premise. I watched "Serenity" last night and it gave me hope. Someone's able to sell a screenplay. Why not me? The sad part is that whether I ever get an agent or if the thing ever gets picked up I won't be able to stop writting episodes. I've got 16 episodes already written and a 22-episode season plotted out. I've planned out all five seaons (with an option season six and seven) and planned for three feature films. This is a franchise, superhero TV show melodrama I'm pitchin' here. It's not like she's not in style. I like to think she's pretty fashionable considering.

Maybe I'm not whoring myself out enough? I don't know. I could be more aggressive in my whoring for this story. I keep playing this thing demure like a job resume. Maybe I need to go Michael Bay on their asses?
