The boot that uglified the world
I'm going on the record with this and you can quote me people. This boot is ugly and it must be stopped.
It's from Mervyn's holiday collection. First Uggs, the Mukaluks, now this. The uglification of winter footwear is driving me mad, people! This so called "Canada" boot is not cute! On anyone! That inlcudes you too, Mary Kate and Ashley Olson. UGLY! And we're in frickin' California, people! Who NEEDS this boot? I've worn flip flops in friggin' JANUARY! ARRRRGGGGGGGHHH!

yeah, it's ugly. But then again, fashion itself is pretty wack- with a K- lately. tapered jeans tucked into hideous Chewbacca reject boots? Voluminous tunics that look more like the dashikis of the 60s? Low rise pants that show off whether or not you really know how to wipe? And let's not forget the Bug Eye sunglasses, in case you didn't know that the Fly Look is back in -watch out Jeff Goldblum-.
Whatever happened to taste, and style? And a little bit of modesty!!

The newsroom and advertising are seperate departments. That, and I don't think Mervyn's will die because I thought a style of boot, available all over, is ugly. Things don't really work that way around here.
Plus, I've used Meryvn's for several of my fashion spreads. I think we're cool. And I stand by my statement that those boots es ugly. I am not Nanook of the North.

Ooh, cute, cute, cute cute! Off to Mervyn's I go. I can't wear the high heels on boots for long. I want boots I can feel cozy comfy in all day. And I hate the long pointed toes on most boots. I have small dainty feet and they make me look like I have long lanky feet. I like the fun natural look and these will look great with my calf length jeans with tucked in. Too cute!
